Get to know Missouri City as you immerse yourself in local food, music, and art at the free, all-day MCTX Fest on Saturday, April 8, 2017.
This spring, the “Show Me City” is set to host the first-annual, free MCTX Fest — a new Parks and Recreation initiative that will feature an exciting day full of live music, art, and food for residents and visitors alike.
This first-of-its-kind celebration will give guests the chance to try food from local restaurants such as Brandani’s and Soto’s Kitchen, and stroll through an art market to see local artisans’ creations.
If the food and shopping weren’t enough, guests to this free celebration can dance the day away to live music by festival headliner Blue Water Highway, Griffin House and more.
Food, Art & Goods Vendors
Attendees working up an appetite from a day of fun in the sun can rejoice as local restaurants and vendors will be out in full force to represent the “Show Me City”.
In addition to Brandani’s and Soto’s Kitchen, vendors include Old Hickory Inn Barbecue, Off the Vine Bistro, Hoggs N’ Chicks, Red Oak Grill, and refreshments from B’s Wine Bar.
The festival will also be a prime destination to catch creations from local artists and artisans with more than 20 vendors including Linda Wagner, Tim Herschbach, and Chappel Jewelry showcasing art and goods.
