- The Dog House Extravaganza at Bayou City Event Center – Check out custom made dog houses, bid on items at the silent auction, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres at this event that benefits New Hope Housing. Tickets start at $30, not including ticket fees. 6pm to 9pm.
- An Act of Justice: Undoing the Legacy of Mass Incarceration Symposium at Rothko Chapel – Hear the opening keynote address from Margaret Burnham followed by a reception to kick off this three-day symposium exploring human rights issues associated with the criminal justice system in the US. $10 suggested donation. 7pm.
- Turtle Races at Little Woodrow’s Midtown | FREE to Attend – Take a seat in the bleachers and cheer for your favorite turtle with you jam to a DJ set at the Little Woodrow’s Turtle Races. 8pm.

- Double Trouble Concert at The Woodlands United Methodist Church – Experience the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra’s newly commissioned work titled “ROCOmoji” by Alexander Miller at this concert in The Woodlands. Tickets start at $15. 7:30pm.
- Emmanuel and Mijares in Concert at Toyota Center – Latin pop stars Emmanuel and Mijares will perform in Houston for the first time together when their Two’r Amigos Tour comes to Toyota Center. Tickets start at $100, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 8:30pm.
