- Much Ado About Nothing at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday and Saturday | FREE – Laugh all the way through this theatrical battle of the sexes comedy at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 8:15pm both nights.
- Tamarie for President at The MATCH | Thursday to Saturday – Tamarie Cooper is running for president and you won’t want to miss her campaign in musical form. Tickets are pay-what-you-can. Thursday 7pm; Friday and Saturday 8pm.
- Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins at Main Street Theater | Thursday and Sunday – Famous columnist Molly Ivins’ life and career will be the focus of this play at Rice Village’s Main Street Theater. - Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Sunday – Get loud for the Astros when they take the field to play the Rangers in three-game series at Minute Maid Park. - Fantastic Galveston Race at Pier 21 | Saturday and Sunday – Add some adventure to the usual sightseeing tour while exploring the beautiful coastal city of Galveston at the Fantastic Galveston Race. Part Da Vinci Code, part Amazing Race, this team scavenger hunt will have you not just seeing the historic city, but interacting with it.
