Attend Asia Society Texas Center’s Spring Night Market to celebrate the opening of The Other Side: Chinese and Mexican Immigration to America with flavors from Mexico and China.
Get a free first look at the exhibition – a combination of works from six contemporary artists that explores labor, border and immigration issues in the United States – before it opens on Saturday, March 28.
Food and drink will be available from vendors like Pastry War, Path of Tea, Taco Me Crazy, Dough Maker Doughnuts and Quite a Stir food trucks – just to name a few.
Visitors of all ages can get crafty with activities that include Chinese calligraphy, paper cutting and paper flower making, try their hand at Mandarin and Spanish with language lessons, watch lion dancing and get their face painted.
