Crowd-pleasing Mexican eatery Arnaldo Richards’ Picos offers both breakfast (beginning at 9am Monday to Saturday, and 10am Sunday) and a Sunday brunch buffet.

On Sunday, an all-you-can-eat brunch spread is packed with fresh salads, ceviche, menudo, posoles, tamales, paella, moles, and an entire table of desserts.

At breakfast, choose between omelets, chilaquiles, and a lineup of traditional huevos plates, from huevos rancheros to migas.

European influences meet Southern charm at Greenway Plaza brasserie Eunice.

Weekend brunch features include hearth-roasted oysters, shrimp & grits in green onion sausage gravy, buttery pancakes with maple syrup and local berries, crawfish omelets, and the simply delicious house cheeseburger with b&b pickles.

And every second Saturday of the month brings a special Jazz Brunch service with live music in the dining room.

Sit on the inviting, tree-shaded deck at Hobbit Café, where the brunch plates are anything but hobbit-sized.

Favorites include poached salmon eggs benny, smoked jalapeño boudin and eggs, or pancakes packed with blueberry, chocolate chip, pistachio, and lavender flavors.

Guests can tack on brunchy booze—think mimosas, frozen bellinis, bloodys, and sangria—too.

Pondicheri

You’ll want to start with the Morning Thali at Indian street food spot Pondicheri; that’s a traditional Indian variety plate, packed with spiced lamb keema, uppma (South Indian–inspired stone grits), coconut salad, morning oats, carrot paratha (flatbread), fried egg, and potato cake.

The fast-casual spot also boasts breakfast frankies, yogurt masala–marinated fried chicken and eggs, and brioche French toast with bananas, strawberries, and jaggery (cane sugar) syrup.

Hit the bake lab on the way out and grab some cardamom and chai-spiced treats to go.

Open daily 9am (Bake Lab Tuesday-Sunday 8am).

State of Grace

At modern American charmer State of Grace, brunch-goers can start with giant warm cinnamon rolls, butter biscuits and ham, or Texas Blue crab hushpuppies before moving to bigger plates—from Southern shakshuka and bearnaise-smothered steak and eggs to griddle cakes with buttermilk syrup and the famous El Felix enchilada.
