• Pearland Restaurant Weeks | All Month Long – Throughout the month of November, the growing restaurant scene in Pearland will showcase curated menus and specialty offerings, with a portion of all orders going to support Pearland Neighborhood Center. Fixed-price menus are $29 for 2-course breakfasts and lunches; $35 for 3-course dinners. Times and locations vary.
• Fish Camp, Brews & Blues 2023 at Goode Co. Armadillo Palace | Thursday, November 2 – Goode Co. in Lower Kirby will host this special evening of live music, handcrafted cocktails, and chef-curated Gulf Coast favorites from Bay gumbo and Gulf shrimp taquitos to freshly shucked Gulf Appellation oysters and redfish with crab fried rice. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to Coastal Conservation Association’s Building Conservation Trust. $100. 6pm to 9pm.
• Night Market at Asia Society Texas Center | Friday, November 3 – Inspired by the traditional street markets popular across East and Southeast Asia, the annual Night Market invites all ages to experience AAPI culture through food, arts, and activities. Expect Asian street food vendors, fun from mahjong to sumo wrestling, dancing and entertainment, and more. The outdoor festival is free to attend and tickets for indoor activities are $5. Admission to sumo wrestling demonstrations is an additional $5. 6pm to 10pm.
• La Fête du Champagne at Multiple Locations | Friday, November 3 & Saturday, November 4 – Making its Houston debut, La Fête du Champagne celebrates and showcases the region’s top producers and wines, with events including a Champagne Pierre Paillard Lunch at Navy Blue, Champagne Salon & Champagne Delamotte Dinner at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse Downtown, and both a La Fête Tasting and Gala Dinner at Bludorn. $165 and up. Times vary.
• Culinary Adventure: An Ancient Meal at Moody Center for the Arts | Sunday, November 5 – Head to the Rice University campus, where you can feast like an ancient Sumerian. Chefs from Bite of Hope and the Iraqi community, with advice from the archaeologist Dr. Zaid Alrawi, replicate a meal from a 5,000-year-old tavern discovered at excavations in Iraq last summer. $65. 5pm to 7pm.
• 49th Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission | Saturdays & Sundays – The 49th annual Texas Renaissance Festival continues its run, transforming its grounds into a 16th-century English Village complete with market vendors, enchanting artists and performers, and food and drink fit for a king. This month’s themed weekends (including the day after Thanksgiving) include Heroes and Villains (November 4–5), Barbarian Invasion (November 11–12), Highland Fling (November 17–18), and Celtic Christmas (November 24–26). Prices vary by weekend, and single day tickets generally start at $29; $15 for ages 5 to 12 in advance, with a price increase the day of the event. 9am to 8pm.
• Iron Sommelier at the Post Oak Hotel | Thursday, November 9 – The Periwinkle Foundation will host its Iron Sommelier wine competition and tasting, with some of the city’s most prestigious sommeliers competing for this year’s title in support of the foundation’s mission to positively change the lives of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. $250, with additional sponsorship opportunities available. 6pm.
• Bollywood Burnout: Diwali Edition at Musaafer | Friday, November 10 – The opulent Indian restaurant in the Galleria area hosts a special Diwali celebration with an exclusive menu, Bollywood DJs and live entertainment. Admission is $35; food available for purchase. 10pm.
• Veteran’s Day at Feges BBQ Spring Branch | Saturday, November 11 – Owner Patrick Feges, an Iraq war veteran and Purple Heart recipient, and his co-owner and wife Erin Smith continue their support for the veteran community, offering free bbq to all service members this Veterans Day (as well as offering a free meal program for veterans every Friday supported by donations from members of the community). 11am to 9pm.  
• Raclette Party at Montrose Cheese & Wine | Saturday, November 11 – Montrose Cheese & Wine is bringing back its apres ski–style Raclette Party on the Patio just in time for the cooler weather. Enjoy melty alpine cheese, scraped to order atop things like potatoes, cornichon, and charcuterie. 1pm to 5pm.
• Friendsgiving with William Chris Vineyards at Henderson & Kane | Saturday, November 11 – The Sixth Ward general store offers an indulgent four-course dinner, paired with selections from William Chris Vineyards of Texas. Menu items include roasted acorn squash, smoked brisket, boudin stuffing, Texas bourbon pecan pie, and more. $90 and up. 6pm to 9pm.
• Honeyland Festival at Crown Festival Park | Saturday, November 11 & Sunday, November 12 – The inaugural Honeyland Festival celebrates the best of Black expression via food, music, art and culture. Top restaurateurs, beverage makers, and artists will join the fun, including world-renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson, Top Chef finalist Dawn Burrell, hometown rapper and singer Tobe Nwigwe, artist and “it girl” Chlöe and more. Tickets start at $95 for day passes and $175 for weekend passes, with add-on experiences available. Times TBA.
• Table to Stage with Chris Shepherd at Stages | Monday, November 13 – Chef Chris Shepherd will host an exclusive series of intimate conversations, opening up a dialogue with world-renowned chefs and exploring the hidden artistry and inspirations that shape the foods we love. In November, Rome-based New York Times bestselling author and Emmy-nominated TV host Katie Parla will take the stage. $100. 7:30pm.
• An Ohana Affair at Guard & Grace | Wednesday, November 15 – Celebrating four years, Downtown Houston’s Guard and Grace will host “An Ohana Affair” evening of delightful bites and cocktails. Owner and TAG Restaurant Group executive chef Troy Guard has collaborated with chefs including Chase Voelz of Bludorn, Drake Leonards of Eunice, H Town Restaurant Group’s Hugo Ortega, Adam Vero of Guard and Grace, and more on the special event. $75 and up, with $25 from each ticket sold going directly back to Kids’ Meals, Inc. 5pm to 8pm.
• Le Diner en Blanc at Secret Location | Saturday, November 18 – Unique dining experience Le Diner en Blanc returns for another secret dinner party. The chic evening invites guests to dress in white and bring all white table settings to enjoy a posh group picnic at the secret location, which will be announced shortly before the party. $62 and up. Time TBA.
