Climb on the bones of the “Travisaurus” dinosaur bones, along with other playground attractions, at the popular Travis Spark Park in Woodland Heights.
The playground at the Travis Spark Park is not your usual play space. It does have your typical play structure, but also a rock wall, sandbox, fitness center, spinning center and dinosaur bones.
These dinosaur bones are huge, meant for climbing, and are a feature designed by the students at Travis Elementary School.
The Spark Park Program develops school parks into neighborhood parks as a way to increase green space in Houston. Travis Spark Park gates open after school activities end, on weekends, holidays and summer months.
