- Dale Watson in Concert at Main Street Crossing in Tomball | Monday, December 28 – Catch a live set from legendary singer-songwriter and Texan, Dale Watson when he takes the stage at Main Street Crossing in Tomball. Tickets range from $20 to $160. 8pm to 9pm.
- Live & Virtual New Year’s Eve 2020 Events | New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31 – Are you ready to put 2020 behind you? Ring in 2021 at one of the many New Year’s Eve in-person and online events happening around Houston on New Year’s Eve 2020. Times and prices vary.
- New Year’s Eve Daytime Skate Party at The Official Dairy Ashford Roller Rink | New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31 – Roll on through to 2021 when The Official Dairy Ashford Roller Rink hosts a family-friendly New Year’s Eve Skate Party that includes pizza, beverages, and party favors. $18 per person; includes skate rental, 2 slices of pizza, and a 16oz drink. 1pm to 6pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. Sacramento Kings at Toyota Center | New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31 – Wind down 2020 in the heart of Downtown when the Rockets play their first home game of the season on New Year’s Eve against the Sacramento Kings. $25 to over $300, but you may find better or cheaper seats on the TicketNetwork marketplace. 6pm to 8:30pm.
- Numbers Nightclub presents Virtual NYE 2020 on Twitch | New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31 | Virtual – The legendary Montrose dance club goes online with their end-of-year celebration featuring music from DJ Wes Wallace, prizes and a midnight balloon drop. Suggested (but not mandatory) cover of $25, with NYE packages available from $40 to $250. 9pm.
- Rothko Chapel presents Contemplation & Sound: New Year’s Day Crystal Bowls on Vimeo | New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1 | Virtual – Start the new year off on a peaceful note with a virtual crystal bowl meditation, led by yoga teacher and founder of Bayou Bliss Yoga, Dana Shamas. This event will be held online and registration is required. Though free, suggested contributions range from $5 to $10. Noon.
- BLCK Market Houston at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum | New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1 | No Cover – Start your year off showing support for Houston’s Black-owned small businesses and entrepreneurs at the first BLCK Market Houston of 2021 in the Museum District. 6pm to 10pm.
- New You New Year at Town Center Park | Saturday, January 2 | No Cover – Drop into Kingwood for an afternoon of fresh beginnings with shopping, food and plenty of family-friendly activities at this forward-looking New You New Year event. Noon to 5pm.
- Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans at NRG Stadium | Sunday, January 3 – Say farewell to the 2020 NFL season when the Texans host the Titans in their final regular season game, live from NRG Stadium and broadcast on CBS and local radio. Tickets start at $60 and are expected to sell out, but may find better, cheaper, or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. Noon.
