- Tom Jones at Smart Financial Centre | Monday – The 83-year old Welsh singer, Sir Tom Jones is best known for his 20th century hits “It’s Not Unusual” and “Delilah”, plus a songbook of music that was the soundtrack to a lot of lives in the ’60s, ’70s, and beyond. $72 and up. 8pm.
- Hozier at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Wednesday – Hozier brings his Unreal Unearth Tour to The Woodlands, with Allison Russell opening the show. First run tickets are sold out, but you may find hard-to-get seats on the online resale marketplace. 7:30pm.
- André 3000’s New Blue Sun Live at the Hobby Center | Wednesday – André 3000, half of the iconic hip hop duo Outkast, brings his intimate and mesmerizing New Blue Sun Live concert to Houston. He’ll be joined on stage by arlos Niño, Surya Botofasina, Nate Mercereau and Deantoni Parks. $59 and up. 8pm.
- Nameless Sound: Tarbaby in Concert at MATCH | Thursday – The jazz trio—composed of Orrin Evans on piano, Eric Revis on bass, and Nasheet Waits on drums—is known for exploring the music’s African roots and American story. Pay what you can. 8pm.
- Kashmere Reunion Band in Concert at Emmit’s Place | Thursday – Members of the elite unit of the Kashmere High School from the late ‘60s ‘78 come together for a night of their classic jazz-funk music at the blues club in Willowbend. $10 and up. 8pm.
- Future Islands at White Oak Music Hall | Friday – The Baltimore-based synth-pop band Future Islands, known for “Seasons (Waiting on You)” and “King of Sweden”, play the downstairs stage at the Near Northside venue. $45. 8pm.
- Ana Bárbara in Concert at Arena Theatre | Friday – Internationally recognized singer-songwriter with 30 years onstage, Bárbara visits Houston to mark the milestone and her album, Bordado a mano. $39 and up. 8:30pm.
- ROCO in Concert: Remarkable Around Houston | Friday & Saturday – Houston’s own ROCO begins their 2024-25 season with a world premiere performance by Vietnamese-American composer Viet Cuong, a program that explores the constellations, stars and planets and accompanied in part by multi-media video presentations. There are two performances at two locations. The first performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre is free to all. The second, in the more intimate Church of St. John the Divine, is Pay-What-You-Can. Times vary.
- Kidz Bop in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Saturday – The talented Kidz Bop crew will sing and move to your favorite pop songs, including hits like “Shake it Off,” “Dance Monkey,” “Old Town Road,” and more. $29.50 and up, but you may find cheaper, better, or hard-to-get seats on the online ticket resale market. 6pm.
- Weezer at Toyota Center | Saturday – Joined by The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr, the ’90s powerhouse pop rock group fronted by Rivers Cuomo brings their Voyage to the Blue Planet Tour—where Weezer will be playing 1994’s legendary self-titled Weezer, also known as the “Blue Album“, in full to honor its 30th anniversary. $39 and up. 7pm.
- Austin Music Presents: Motenko & Lew Apollo in Concert at Dan Electro’s | Saturday – Showcasing a pair of rising local talent from the ATX, Austin Music Presents will be headlined by neo-retro R&B act Motenko, with soul singer Lew Apollo opening the show. $15. 7pm.
- M. Ward in Concert at The Heights Theater | Saturday – M. Ward brings his mix of folk and blues-inspired Americana to the intimate stage on 19th Street in the Heights. Folk Bitch Trio opens the show. $28 and up. 8pm.
