  • Christian Nodal at Toyota Center | Thursday, September 21 – Fusing mariachi and norteño, the Latin Grammy-winning Mexican singer-songwriter comes to Houston fresh off his latest EP release, Forajido 2. $66 and up. 8pm.
  • Jelly Roll at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Friday, September 22 – The rap artist–turned–country singer, fresh off multiple wins at the CMT Music Awards, makes a stop in the Woodlands. He calls his work “real music for real people with real problems,” according to the New York Times, and his songs often reference his journey to sobriety and celebrations of life. $96 and up. 7pm.
  • Kam Franklin at Axelrad | Friday, September 22 | FREE – The singer -ongwriter, activist, and powerhouse lead of Houston’s own Gulf Coast soul band The Suffers, is taking over the neon beer garden for a free Friday night show. 8pm.
  • Switchfoot at The Heights Theater | Friday, September 22 – The Grammy-winning rock band celebrates the 20th anniversary of their triple-platinum record, The Beautiful Letdown with the last of two shows at the Heights Theater. $42 and up. 8pm.
  • Los Fabulosos Cadillacs in Concert at Smart Financial Centre | Friday, September 22 – The Argentine music group that blends ska and Latin rock with other styles takes to the stage in Sugar Land. Across four decades of recording, they’ve evolved, pushed the music envelope and collaborated with singers like Celia Cruz and Mick Jones of the Clash. $52 and up. 8pm.
  • Shinyribs in Concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday, September 22 | FREE – The Austin-based band, led by Kevin Russell, comes to Houston, performing its signature blend of Texas Blues, New Orleans R&B funk, horn-driven Memphis Soul, country twang, border music, big band swing, and roots-rock.
