- Pride Chorus Houston: Pride Happy Hour at Moody Center for the Arts | Thursday, June 8 | FREE – The Rice University arts gallery hosts its annual Pride Happy Hour event with acapella renditions of pop favorites from Pride Chorus Houston, plus after-hours tunes from DJ Krazzy Kris. 5pm to 7pm.

- Duran Duran at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Friday, June 9 – One of the O.G. English new wave bands, Duran Duran is gracing the stage in the Woodlands with a setlist bursting with all the best hits. $29.95 and up. 7pm.
- Axiom Quartet presents Open Source at First Congregational Church | Saturday, June 10 – Head to the Memorial-area church for the world premiere of Open Source, an original work composed by Karl Blench, with libretto written by Jacqui Sutton and sung by guest bass-baritone Timothy Jones. To follow that up, they’ll perform Beethoven’s powerful String Quartet, Op 130. Free for ages 18 and under; suggested donation of $20. 7pm.
- The Tontons, with Young Mammals at the Heights Theater | Saturday, June 10 – A trio of H-Town indies unite in the Heights, led by the steady rock stylings of the Tontons, joined by Young Mammals fresh off a new EP release, and Goodgirl in support. $20 and up. 8pm.
- Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán at Bayou Music Center | Saturday, June 10 – The most recent iteration of the Mexican folk ensemble founded more than a century ago, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitán will put on a spectacle of a live show when they hit the Bayou Music Center stage. $69 and up. 8pm.
- Bronco at Arena Theatre | Saturday, June 10 – The legendary Mexican grupero band is bringing their fire regional Mexican music to Southwest Houston when they hit the stage for a high-energy set. $95 and up. 8:30pm.
