  • 53 Thieves in Concert at White Oak Music Hall | Wednesday, August 7 – The lo-fi producer duo team up for a live show that sends them through White Oak. $16. 7pm.
  • Dale Watson in Concert at Goode Co. Armadillo Palace | Friday, August 9 – The Texas outlaw country singer with songs like “Texas Boogie” and “I Lie When I Drink”  has been making records for more than 30 years. Part maverick, part troubadour, all Texas, he brings his signature sound to the Upper Kirby stage. $20. 8pm.
  • Afrobeats To the World at White Oak Music Hall | Friday, August 9 – Feel the pulsating beats of this experience at the Heights-area club. It’s a chance to hear world music and enjoy the unique sound of Afrobeats. $20 and up. 10pm.
  • Luke Combs in Concert at NRG Stadium | Friday, August 9 & Saturday, August 10 – The country singer-songwriter takes over the biggest stage in town with back-to-back nights at NRG, promoting his latest album, Fathers & Sons. $35 and up. 6pm.
  • I Prevail & Halestorm in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Saturday, August 10 – The hard rock acts bring their signature sounds to the Woodlands stage in this live concert. Hollywood Undead and Fit for a King open. $29.50 and up. 6pm.
  • Performing Arts Houston present Queen of the Night: A Whitney Houston Tribute at Wortham Center | Saturday, August 10 – Amanda Cole, former vocalist of En Vogue, lights up the stage in this tribute to the iconic pop star. You’ll hear some of Whitney’s biggest hits, including “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” “How Will I Know?,” “I Will Always Love You” and more. $53 and up. 7:30pm.
  • The Gaslight Anthem at White Oak Music Hall | Saturday, August 10 – The heartland punk band brings their sixth studio album History Books out on the road for an extensive North American tour. $48.50 and up. 8pm.
  • Demola at 713 Music Hall | Saturday, August 10 – The talented Nigerian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, also known as “Demola the Violinist,” plans to show up and show out when he headlines the 713 Music Hall stage. $41.25 and up. 8pm.
  • Grupo Frontera at Toyota Center | Saturday, August 10 – After a rise to fame following a viral Tik Tok in 2022, Grupo Frontera headline Clutch City with music that mixes norteño and cumbia from their brand new album, Jugando A Que No Pasa. $59 and up. 8pm.
  • Houston Reggae Fest at City Hall | Saturday, August 10 & Sunday, August 11 – The seventh annual fest returns to Downtown Houston for two days of music and chill vibes. Spice, Sister Nancy and Yellowman are among the entertainers taking to multiple stages, plus you can expect food trucks, local vendors, arts and more. $30 per day; $40 for weekend passes. 3pm to 10pm.
  • Limp Bizkit at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Sunday, August 11 – The legendary nu-metal band celebrates 30 years with a host of buddies, from Cory Feldman to Riff Raff, when they bring their Loserville tour to the Woodlands playing all the familiar faves. $49.50 and up. 6:30pm.
