  • Bon Jovi at Toyota Center | Tuesday, April 26 – The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers return to touring after a pandemic hiatus, bringing with it their latest album, 2020, plus other fan faves. $19.50 and up, but you may find cheaper, better, or hard-to-find seats on the online resale market. . 8pm.
  • Death Cab for Cutie at 713 Music Hall | Thursday, April 28 – The indie rock band enters their 25th year of playing, swinging through Post HTX’s music venue in Downtown to perform songs from their latest album, Thank You for Today, and other fan faves. $30 and up. 8pm.
  • Justin Bieber at Toyota Center | Friday, April 29 – Pop sensation Justin Bieber is joined by Jaden while touring his sixth studio album, Justice, which brings him through Downtown for a hotly anticipated concert. $59.50 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Snow tha Product at House of Blues | Friday, April 29 – After notching her first Latin Grammy nomination last year, the Mexican American rapper hits House of Blues on the Dale Gas Tour ahead of her forthcoming studio album, Valemadre. $25. 8pm.
  • Houston Symphony presents Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony at Jones Hall | Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1 | Virtual Option – In his final performances as music director for the Houston Symphony, Andrés Orozco-Estrada conducts this resplendent symphony, unmatched in all of music. Celebrate the end of an era on the Houston arts scene with a performance that showcases the orchestra at its very best. $29 and up (livestream is $20). Friday and Saturday 8pm; Sunday 2:30pm.
  • The Ponce Project presents Mexican Chamber at MATCH | Saturday, April 30 – In Midtown, this concert features two beautiful compositions by two of the most revered composers from Latin America: José Rolón’s Cuarteto Romántico and Manuel M. Ponce’s Trío Romántico. $25. 2:30pm.
  • Deftones on the Lawn at White Oak Music Hall | Saturday, April 30 – The alt metal band out of Sacramento arrives at White Oak’s Lawn for a highly-anticipated show in support of their last release, Ohms. Tickets are sold out through the venue, but you may find hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 6pm.
  • AJR in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Saturday, April 30 – The indie pop trio open the new season at the Woodlands outdoor venue, performing songs from their latest release, OK Orchestra. $30.50 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Tori Amos in Concert at Smart Financial Centre | Saturday, April 30 – The pop rock icon stops by Sugar Land while touring Ocean to Ocean, the singer-songwriter’s 16th studio album. $49.50 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Snoh Aalegra at Bayou Music Center | Saturday, April 30 – The Swedish singer-songwriter stops by Downtown to perform songs from her latest album, Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies. $59 and up. 8pm.
  • Heart By Heart in Concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Saturday, April 30 | FREE – Featuring two original band members, this tribute act plays many of the hits from the classic rock band, Heart, including “Barracuda,” “Crazy On You,” “Magic Man” and more. 8:15pm.
  • Apollo Chamber Players presents American Legends at Hobby Center | Sunday, May 1 – In American Legends, Apollo Chamber Players closes its season with the live world premiere of In the Shadow of the Mountain by Jennifer Higdon, the world’s most performed female living composer. $55 and up. 2pm. 
  • James Arthur with Nina Nesbitt in Concert at House of Blues | Sunday, May 1 – The English singer-songwriter is known for claiming top prize in British television’s The X Factor in 2012, though he swings through Downtown’s House of Blues while touring his fourth studio album, It’ll All Make Sense in the End. $29.50 and up. 7pm.
