- College Basketball: Houston Cougars v. Rice Owls at Fertitta Center | Wednesday, December 6 – It’s a battle for H-Town when the Rice Owls fly over to the Fertitta Center to battle it out against Big 12’s top-ranked squad at Coogs’ house. $10 and up. 7pm.
- Rudolph Run 5K and 10K at CityCentre | Saturday, December 9 – Runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages are invited to take a lap at the Rudolph Run at CityCentre, including lengths of 5K and 10K, as well as a Cupid 1K. Enjoy pictures with Santa and special treats after the fun run, and the best Christmas costume will receive a gift card. $40 and up; $20 for the Cupid 1K. 7am to 11am.
- College Basketball: Houston Cougars v. Jackson State Tigers at Fertitta Center | Saturday, December 9 – The Jackson State Tigers come prowling through UH for what is sure to be an action-packed game filled with fierce competition. $10 and up. 3pm.
