  • Houston Texans Season Premiere at NRG Stadium | Thursday, August 31– Ahead of the NFL season kickoff, join members of the Houston Texans front office and team for an exclusive evening on the field that includes dinner, casino games, live music, a silent auction and more. Appearances include Chair and CEO Cal McNair, General Manager Nick Caserio, Head Coach DeMeco Ryans, Texans players, Toro the mascot, cheerleaders and more. $1,000 and up. 6:30pm. 
  • Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees at Minute Maid Park | Friday, September 1 to Sunday, September 3 – Jose Altuve leads the reigning champs against a struggling New York Yankees at the juicebox for a fun Labor Day Weekend of baseball. $41 and up. Times vary.
  • Playin’ For First Responders: Charity Sand Volleyball Tournaments at Wakefield Crowbar | Saturday, September 2 – Its an all-day sand volleyball extravaganza for a good cause when the volleyball bar hosts a benefit for first responders. Tournaments are held from the morning through the night and are divided by recreational and competitive teams. Registration is $140 per team, or $35 for free agents. 9am to 10pm.
  • Football: UH Cougars vs. UTSA at TDECU Stadium | Saturday, September 2 – After making the jump to the Big 12 conference, the Cougars embark on a new football season for the school year. UTSA is first up for their home season opener. $15 and up. 6pm.
