• Miracle Pop-Up at Daiquiri Time Out, Johnny’s Gold Brick & Winnie’s | All Month Long – Beloved holiday cocktail pop-up Miracle returns to Houston watering holes Johnny’s Gold Brick, Winnie’s, and DTO (in Galveston) this season, running through December 31. The kitschy, holiday-themed pop-up bars offer a bit of holiday magic in the form of cheery cocktails—like the Grandma Got Runover by A T-Rex, Island of Misfit Toys, and Ruldolph’s Rum Rhapsody, plus over-the-top nostalgic holiday décor, festive snacks, and spirited vibes. • Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration at Paraiso Maravilla | Select dates through Friday, December 16 – Guests are invited to step into Hogwarts for a magical night of “well-mannered frivolity” at this Harry Potter-themed pop-up. Expect a lively dance floor, traditional British fare and tasty treats (including Butterbeer), a Yule Ball Market for gifts, wands, and robes, and all kinds of magic. The fun, festive evening will feature B&B’s signature steakhouse offerings, flowing drinks, party favors and live music downstairs from 7pm to 10pm and continuing with DJ music on the upstairs patio from 10pm to 1am. Chef Tim Reading has curated special food and wine pairings to celebrate the occasion, including East coast oysters with champagne mignonette, Gulf fish ceviche, truffle arancinis, lobster ravioli, braised short rib, and desserts. Guests will also be gifted a sweet takeaway at the end of their meals, and the second seating will enjoy a midnight champagne toast of Lallier NV and live music. $100 for the early seating; $150 for the late seating.
