- Brunch Run at Memorial Park – Race (or walk) through the park on a four-mile trail in this annual event followed by a post-race party. Registration starts at $10. 7:30am.
- HealthFest at Discovery Green | FREE – Hear from health experts, learn about up-cycling, and check out healthy foods and green products from vendors at HealthFest. 10am to 6pm.
- Midtown Art in the Park | FREE – Head to Elizabeth Baldwin Park for this festival featuring live music, family-friendly activities, and fine art from local and regional artists. 10am to 6pm.
- Mindfulness Classes for Kids & Teens at The Health Museum – The Health Museum offers the first of three classes with Dr. Ann Friedman that focuses on mindfulness and how it can release stress for both kids and teens. The course is $225 for members of The Health Museum and $250 for non-members. Times for classes vary.
- First Saturday Arts Market in The Heights | FREE to Attend – Browse artwork and enjoy delicious bites and live music at the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights. 11am to 6pm.
- Jordan Ranch Crawfish Boil | FREE to Attend – Head over to the Jordan Ranch Model Home Park for a family-friendly Crawfish Boil and enjoy live music from the Bayou Roux Band along with activities for all ages. Noon to 4pm.
- Muddy Trails Bash at Rob Fleming Park – Head to The Woodlands and run in the 5k or 10k, or bring your dog to run in the 2k-9 and stick around for the post-race party featuring music and a crawfish cook-off. Registration starts at $30, not including ticket fees. 3pm.
- Double Trouble Concert at St John the Divine – Experience the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra’s newly commissioned work titled “ROCOmoji” by Alexander Miller at this concert at St John the Divine. Arrive early for a composer talk at 4:15pm. Tickets start at $15. 5pm.
- Houston Whiskey Festival at Bayou City Event Center – Sample whiskies and spirits, hang out in the cigar lounge, enjoy music, and hear from whiskey brand ambassadors at the annual Houston Whiskey Festival. Tickets start at $65. 6pm to 10pm.
- Panic! At The Disco in Concert at Toyota Center – Rock out with Panic! At The Disco at this concert as part of their Death Of A Bachelor Tour. Tickets start at $29.50, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7pm.
- Houston Dynamo vs. New York Red Bulls at BBVA Compass Stadium – Cheer on the Dynamo as they play the Red Bulls in a home game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets start at $24, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7:30pm.
- Gladys Knight in Concert at Arena Theatre – Hear soulful tunes from Grammy award-winning artist Gladys Knight at this performance at Arena theatre. Tickets start at $65, but you may find limited discounted tickets for $34.25. 8:30pm.

- Run for the Rose at NRG Park – Take on the 5k course at your own pace in this run that raises funds and awareness for brain cancer. Registration starts at $15. 8am.
- Houston Whatever Fest in EaDo – This festival brings art, comedy, and music together for a party in the streets of EaDo near Polk and Hutchins streets. Tickets start at $39, not including ticket fees. 11:30am to 10:30pm.
- Houston Lebanese Festival at Jones Plaza – Experience all that Lebanon has to offer, including food, dancing and other entertainment, at this festival in Downtown. Tickets start at $5. 11am to 9pm.
- Chef Led Mexi-Asian Food Tour with Cherry Pie Hospitality’s Lee Ellis and Chef Jim Mills – Join the duo behind State Fare, Pi Pizza, Lee’s Fried Chicken and Donuts, Petite Sweets, and more on a eating and drinking tour exploring their favorite ethnic restaurants in Houston. $190 included food, drink, and swag. Noon.
- Crawfish Sunday at Southern Star Brewing Company | FREE to Attend – Mud bug season is back in Houston and The Cajun Station Food Truck will be serving them up alongside cold beer and music at Southern Star Brewery. Noon to 6pm.
- 5th Anniversary Street Food Carnival at Underbelly – Celebrate the 5th anniversary of Chris Shepherd’s restaurant Underbelly with this afternoon festival featuring carnival games and street food from around the world. $45. 1pm to 4pm.
- Sundays in the Park at Discovery Green | FREE – Get some fresh air as you enjoy games and music from Sparky Parker at Discovery Green. All Day.
