- Eschenbach Conducts Bruckner at Jones Hall – The Houston Symphony welcomes former music director Christoph Eschenbach back with this concert of works from Anton Bruckner at Jones Hall. Tickets start at $25, not including ticket fees. 8pm.
- Barefoot in the Park at The Grand – See this production of Barefoot in the Park – a Broadway hit about a newlywed couple navigating their marriage in New York City – at The Grand. Tickets start at $21.60, not including ticket fees. 8pm.
- Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash in Concert at Goode Co. Armadillo Palace – Goode Company Armadillo Palace is celebrating Cook-Off weekend with a line-up of live music with Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash set to close out the festivities with their western swing, folk, and bluegrass sound. $20. 11pm.

- Hermann Park Dog Walk with the Rockets – Walk your pup through Hermann Park with the Houston Rockets at this annual walk. $35. 8am.
- Bayou Bikers Ride at Market Square Park | FREE – Join Bayou Bikers for a 25 to 40-mile ride along the bayous. Meet at Market Square Park. 8am.
- AIDS Walk Houston 2017 at Sam Houston Park | FREE to Attend – Support local AIDS service organizations while walking for a cause at the annual AIDS Walk Houston in Downtown. While this event is free to attend, guests must register and fundraising is strongly encouraged. Noon.
- Russian Spring Pop-Up Market at the Russian Cultural Center | FREE to Attend – Local vendors will gather at this pop-up market to sell art, jewelry, clothing and books in both Russian and English at the Russian Cultural Center. Noon to 5pm.
- Crawfish Sunday at Southern Star Brewing Company | FREE to Attend – Mud bug season is back in Houston and The Cajun Station Food Truck will be serving them up alongside cold beer and music at Southern Star Brewery. Noon to 6pm.
- Green Day in Concert at Toyota Center – See punk rock band Green Day and opening act Against Mel perform live when their 2017 North American Tour comes to Houston. Tickets start at $39.50, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7pm.
