- Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Park | Daily – Dust off your boots and head to NRG for the Rodeo, complete with carnival rides, rodeo competitions and fried food, as well as nightly concerts from acts like Leon Bridges, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, and Alessia Cara. - Houston Fishing Show at George R. Brown Convention Center | Daily – Find all things needed for the ultimate fishing trip at the 43rd Annual Fishing Show at George R. Brown Convention Center. Peruse a selection of boats, kayaks, and equipment, explore exhibits from regional resort areas, marinas, fishing camps and seashore, and attend seminars led by industry experts. $12. Thursday and Friday noon to 9pm; Saturday 10am to 7pm; Sunday 10am to 6pm.
- Cirque Italia Aquatic Spectacular at Katy Mills | Daily – Watch acrobats, jugglers, dancers and more perform in Cirque Italia’s Aquatic Spectacular at Katy Mills. Tickets start at $10. Thursday and Friday 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 1:30pm, 4:30pm, and 7:30pm.
- Rock, Roll and Tutus at George R. Brown Convention Center | Daily – See the Houston Ballet in their newest mixed-repertory program, Rock, Roll and Tutus. Performances include Trey McIntyre’s In Dreams, Stanton Welch’s La Cathedrale Engloutie, Tim Harbour’s Filigree and Shadow, and Alexander Ekman’s Cacti. Tickets start at $39. Times vary daily.
- Men on Boats at Main Street Theater | Daily – Take your seat for a performance of Men on Boats, a story about 10 explorers traveling the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon on 4 boats, playing at Main Street Theater. Tickets start at $39. Thursday to Saturday 7:30pm; Sunday 3pm.
- Memphis at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts | Daily – See the Tony-award winning musical that follows a tale of forbidden love set in the birthplace of Rock n’ Roll. The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts presents Memphis, featuring a score by Bon Jovi’s David Bryan. Tickets start at $30, not including ticket fees, but you may find limited discounted tickets. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday 8pm; Saturday 2pm and 8pm; Sunday 2pm and 7:30pm.
- Leap and the Net Will Appear at MATCH | Daily – Follow one woman’s theatrical, time-hopping search for love, adventure, and self-understanding in The Catastrophic Theatre’s performance of Leap and the Net Will Appear, by Chana Porter. Suggested donation of $40. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday and Saturday 8pm; Sunday 2:30pm.
- The Oscars: Best Original Songs at Jones Hall | Thursday to Saturday – Hear the Houston Symphony perform a selection of Academy Award-winning music spanning the last 80 years. You’ll hear memorable classics, such as “Over the Rainbow,” “My Heart Will Go On,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Moon River,” as well as newer pieces, like “Writings on the Wall.” Tickets start at $26. 8pm every day.
- Sherlock Holmes and the Spinsters of Blackmead at Theatre Suburbia | Friday and Saturday – Watch a mystery unfold as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson attempt to solve a slew of murders in Suburbia Theatre’s performance of Sherlock Holmes and the Spinsters of Blackmead. - Hidden Dimensions at Uptown Dance Centre | Friday and Saturday – Enjoy a three-part dance performance set to live music, as Houston’s Uptown Dance Company and Axiom Quartet together present Hidden Dimensions. $30. 7:30pm both nights.
- Broadway at the Box at The Music Box Theater | Friday and Saturday – Experience a night of musical theater as performers The Great White Way return to The Music Box Theater. - The 83rd Azalea Trail in River Oaks | Friday to Sunday – Walk through a trail of pristine gardens full of blooming azaleas at seven River Oaks locations. Participants will learn about architecture, flower arranging, and horticulture specific to our region. Tickets start at $10. 11am daily.
