- Houston Restaurant Weeks at Participating Restaurants Around Houston | Daily – Dine out for a good cause all month as part of this annual city-wide fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank. Restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Times, prices, and locations vary.
- Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps at The Alley Theatre | Daily – The Alley Theatre is putting a comedic twist on the classic film Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps by casting 4 actors to play 150 characters. This show is part of their Summer Chills series. Tickets start at $26. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday 8pm; Saturday 2:30pm and 8pm; Sunday 2:30pm and 7:30pm.
- Always…Patsy Cline Musical at Stages Repertory Theatre | Daily – Get a glimpse into the life of legendary country singer Patsy Cline in this musical paying tribute to her friendship with Louise Seger at Stages Repertory Theatre. Tickets start at $43, but you may find limited discounted tickets for $21.50. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday 8:30pm; Saturday 2:30pm and 8:30pm; Sunday 2:30pm.
- Church at the 1891 St. John Church | Daily – Catch the Houston Premiere of Church, a play from Horse Head Theatre Co. that will challenge audience members’ concept of self, at Heritage Society’s 1891 St. John Church. Arrive early for an immersive pre-show. Tickets start at $24. 7:30pm nightly.
- The Bodyguard at the Hobby Center | Daily – The National Tour of The Bodyguard, a Broadway show about a superstar and her hired bodyguard, is coming to Houston for a run at The Hobby Center. Tickets start at $34. Thursday 7:30pm; Friday 8pm; Saturday 2pm and 8pm; Sunday 2pm and 7:30pm.
- L’Italiana in Algeri at The MATCH | Friday and Saturday – Experience the opera L’Italiana in Algeri in an intimate setting at The MATCH when Operativo Houston performs a new take on this piece from Rossini. Tickets are $27. 7:30pm both nights.
- Houston Astros vs. Oakland Athletics at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Sunday – Get loud for the Astros when they take the field to play the A’s in three games fresh off a two-game series against Arizona at Minute Maid Park. Arrive early for special freebies as part of Legends Weekend celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 1997 Division Champion team. Tickets start at $15, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Friday 7:10pm; Saturday 6:10pm; Sunday 1:10pm.
- Flea at Silver Street | Saturday and Sunday – Shop at the Summer Flea at Silver Street, an upscale flea market featuring an eclectic mix of vintage, handmade, original design, jewelry, art, home decor, and local foods. Tickets are $5 and kids 12 and under get in free. 10am to 6pm each day.

- Blanket Bingo at Market Square Park – Lounge out on lawn chairs or blankets while enjoying a historic night out filled with music, fun, and bingo. Admission includes a packet of bingo cards, which are good for about ten games. $10. 6pm to 9pm.
- Salsa Dance Classes at Discovery Green | FREE – Get a lesson in Latin dancing from Strictly Street Salsa in this free class at Discovery Green. 7pm to 8pm.
- Rock the Row at Hughes Landing | FREE – Bring your blankets and lawn chairs out to Hughes Landing in The Woodlands for an evening of live blues music from The Sugarland Brass Company. This event is part of the Rock the Row free concert series. 7pm to 9pm.
- Too Marvelous For Words: A Celebration of Nat ‘King’ Cole at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – Go on a journey through the life of Nat ‘King’ Cole in this performance from Keith David at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 8:30pm.
- Latin Thursdays at Belvedere Lounge – Head to Uptown Park to mix and mingle at Belvedere Lounge while DJ Little Martin, DJ Pollo and DJ Mishka spin. 9pm.
