Arrive in a galaxy far, far away for a 2-hour, parody and burlesque show mashup combining the world of Star Wars with allure, loving detail, and hilarious parody from Wednesday, February 5 through Sunday, March 30, 2025.

After performing to sold out crowds in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, New York, LA, and Detroit, the 18+ hit burlesque parody The Empire Strips Back is touching down for 2 months of live performances at the heart of the Sawyer Yards campus in Arts District Houston.

Dropping the classic space fantasy characters into the world of burlesque—scantily clad and seriously sultry. The parody features both menacing and risqué dance, larger than life performers—we’re looking at you, giant Hutt puppet—and even the droids you’re looking for.

Be prepared for some seriously sultry stormtroopers, a dangerously enticing Boba Fett, some tantalizing Twi’leks, a delightfully luke-warm Taun Taun, a lady-like Skywalker, everyone’s favorite droids, and even Han Solo and Chewbacca.

This show has sold out across the country, so move quickly to secure your seats while they’re still available.
