Take a deep dive into art to discover exciting, original works from international and local artists at the Texas Contemporary Arts Fair, happening at the George R. Brown Convention Center from Thursday, October 10 through Sunday, October 13, 2013.
For the third year, this rapidly expanding arts showcase comes to Houston for a big four-day event, including the special VIP preview night on Thursday, October 10, benefitting Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH).
Houston’s cavernous convention center is transformed into a vast collection of art galleries, intimate spaces and amazing places, featuring unique works of art, such as “Living Room” by artist Hannah Chalew via the Jonathan Ferrera Gallery in New Orleans (pictured above).
More than 70 galleries will showcase artwork from their portfolios of clients, ranging from talented and celebrated names from around Houston and around the world. This year, ten new galleries will join the lineup, including Houston’s Barbara Davis Gallery, McClain Gallery and Devin Borden Gallery; Boston’s Carroll and Sons; Miami’s Emerson Dorsch and Charest-Weinberg; Santa Monica’s Rosamund Felsen Gallery; New York’s Margaret Thatcher Projects; and Chicago’s Western Exhibitions and THE MISSION.
