Escape the summer heat and chill out with Wednesday drinks after work at the weekly Sundown at The Grove held from 5:30pm to 8pm every Wednesday from July 1 through September 9, 2015 at The Grove at Discovery Green.
For the fourth year, The Grove’s special summer weekly happy hour series presents the perfect midweek respite from the dog days of summer. From July into early September, The Grove will showcase beers from a select brewery and pair them with food created by its chefs.
Tickets include four four-ounce pours of cold craft beer plus a food pairing to go with each beer. A brewmaster from the featured brewery will be on hand every week to discuss the intricacies of the beer you’re sampling.
You’ll also have a chance to mingle with other Houstonians while overlooking Discovery Green and the Houston skyline from The Grove’s air-conditioned Vista Room, while DJ Sun deftly handles the music to keep the vibe right.
But tickets aren’t required to enjoy a cold drink. You can bypass the flight and food and simply purchase the drink of your choice from the full selection at the outdoor Treehouse Bar, where shade trees and large fans strive to fend off the heat.
