Brooklyn-based guitarist, producer and songwriter Steve Gunn has been making a name for himself over the years as a side-man and collaborator, but after a prolific couple of years his work as a solo artist has finally gained him a spotlight of his own.

Known for his virtuosic guitar playing, Gunn’s music is his effort at expressing the simple yet profound relationship between humans and their environment through song.

On his latest and highly-acclaimed album Way Out Weather, Gunn embraces his urban surroundings through a selection of songs that display his innate ability to mix well crafted guitar hooks with memorable melodies.
