Get out and show your love for Star Wars at celebrations, trivia nights, and more across the greater Space City on Saturday, May 4, 2024. 

Once just a punny turn of phrase, May Fourth has become the unofficially official holiday for fans of the Star Wars saga, thanks to one tongue-in-cheek line, “May the fourth be with you.”

Here is where you can catch May the 4th festivities on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Star Wars Day 2024 Events Around Houston

  • Star Wars Trivia at Houston Toy Museum | Thursday, May 2 – The Force will be with you and your friends as you gather to show off your knowledge about all things Star Wars. From droids to plotlines, characters and more, this is an opportunity to enjoy an evening with fellow Star Wars fans. Tickets include admission to the museum. $10. 7pm.
  • May the 3rd Be With You Art Show at Bad Astronaut Brewing | Friday, May 3 | No Cover – Celebrate a day early with an art show at the Northside brewery. Dress up as your favorite—or most hated—Star Wars character and take in graffiti work by DeckWGF and Dizkust alongside Bad Astronaut’s craft brew lineup. 6pm to 11pm.
  • Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners at Minute Maid Park | Friday, May 3 to Sunday, May 5 – Star Wars Weekend arrives at the ballpark when the Astros take on division rivals from Seattle. All weekend long, you can take advantage of promotional giveaways like a Kyle Tucker Space City jersey, an Alex Bregman bobblehead, and a mesh tote bag, plus the concourse will be roaming with characters from the beloved franchise. $37 and up. Times vary.
