Be among the first Houstonians to get a peek at J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars sequel Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Regal Marq’E Stadium 23 from Friday, November 28 through Sunday, November 30, 2014.
UPDATE: 11/27/14: Lucasfilm confirmed that the trailer will also be viewable online at Apple’s iTunes trailer page starting Friday, November 28, 2014.
The long-awaited 88-second teaser trailer will be showing before every single screening at the theater for the three days starting on Friday, November 28. It is the only theater in the Houston area which will have the Star Wars trailer and just one of three in all of Texas (the others are in Austin and Dallas). Lucasfilm reports that it is only being made available in 30 theaters nationwide.
The film features the cast of the original Star Wars films reprising their roles in a story that takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will be joined by new castmembers including Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie and more.
Lucasfilm stated that the brief trailer will be available in wide release beginning in December.
