Join one of Houston’s longest running Independence Day traditions at the Houston Symphony’s free Star Spangled Salute concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 8:30pm.
Conductor Jason Seber will lead a full orchestra in performing a 90-minute program featuring beloved patriotic favorites and songs from the American songbook.
The program will conclude with a grand fireworks finale celebrating America’s 248th birthday and anniversary of signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia in 1776.
Star Spangled Salute is also the first of six different concerts Houston Symphony will be performing in July 2024.

Finding Your Seat at Miller Outdoor Theatre
There are two types of seating at Miller Outdoor Theatre—covered seating and hillside seating. All seating is free, but covered seating for popular shows usually requires an assigned ticket reserved in advance.
You can get your tickets online one day prior to the performance date, beginning at 10am, until noon on the day of the performance.
