Get ready to celebrate all things science fiction, fantasy, comic book and pop culture at the Space City Comic Con 2015 at NRG Center from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2015.
Who said that dressing up as your favorite comic book hero is just a childhood past time? For many, young and mature in age, the love for comics has never stopped. In fact, their appreciation has only grown with time. Well, if that is the case for you, you’re sure to enjoy Space City Comic Con.
This summer con is the Gulf Coast’s fan-culture convention and family entertainment, pop-culture expo for all ages. It’s the perfect event for fans of comics, cosplay, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, literature and art.
This year, the event features appearances from Star Trek’s William Shatner, a cast reunion of Star Trek Voyager (including Kate Mulgrew who currently portrays Red on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black), Doctor Who‘s Matt Ryan, a cast reunion for Power Rangers and many more.
While wearing a costume isn’t mandatory, it’ll definitely make for great pictures to share with your friends and family.
