Delight to a Broadway pop concert & steampunk cirque at Miller Outdoor Theatre this weekend

Say hello to spring with live theater, dance and music in the great outdoors with 2 live shows over 2 nights, the Sharpe Family Singers in Concert and Cirque Mechanics in Pedal Punk—at Miller Outdoor Theatre on this Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, 2025.

With its 102nd season in full force, Miller Outdoor Theatre presents a weekend of crowd-pleasing, all ages live music and clever acrobatic storytelling in the heart of Hermann Park in the Museum District.

And, as always, all shows and performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are completely free.

This Weekend at Miller Outdoor Theatre

The Sharpe Family Singers in Concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday, April 18 | FREE – Broadway-star parents, Ron and Barbra—Les Miz’ original Marius and Cosette—and their kids Samantha, Logan, and twins Aidan and Connor perform a tightly choreographed, interactive, live multimedia show boasting Broadway showstoppers, Disney mega-hits, and pop hits. 8pm.

Cirque Mechanics: Pedal Punk at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Saturday, April 19 | FREE – Houston welcomes Cirque Mechanics, a steampunk-inspired acrobatic whirlwind, where a zany bike shop mechanic interacts with cyclists and bikes and repairs more than broken pieces. 8pm.

Finding Your Seat at Miller Outdoor Theatre

There are two types of seating at Miller Outdoor Theatre—covered seating and hillside seating.

All seating is free, but covered seating for popular shows usually requires an assigned ticket reserved in advance. 

You can get your free tickets online one day prior to the performance date, beginning at 10am, until noon on the day of the performance.
