Pearland will be rocking on the second weekend in June when the free Shake, Rattle & Roll celebration takes over Pearland Town Center.
The two-day party celebrates great rock and roll music with live music, a food truck court, vintage vendors, a classic car show, and classic movies.
The family event coincides with King’s Battle of the Brews at King’s Biergarten, where attendees can choose sides as American and German brews go head to head in a tournament to name the best nation of beermakers.
Visitors can stay closer to the action, with special summer-long savings at Pearland’s hotels. Packages come with extra goodies including passes to the 1940 Air Terminal Museum, tickets to see Pearl Theater’s production of the Elvis Presley-inspired All Shook Up, a savings pass for Pearland Town Center, Visit Pearland swag, and more.

Shake, Rattle & Roll
The weekend’s main event is the free, family-friendly celebration of good old rock and roll, with two days of live music, classic movie screenings, a classic car show, food truck finery, and more.
On Saturday, June 11, Elvis tribute artist Vince King will kick the festivities off with a tribute to 1950s-era Elvis at 2pm. The TX Blues Brothers Tribute Show and the 60s and 70s rock of Amber & the Old Rascals will follow. Closing out the night, Vince King will flash forward two decades to present a second tribute to Elvis in all his 1970s glory.
Also on Saturday, Houston Vintage Market will offer a curated collection of vendors, with vintage clothing and accessories for sale from 2pm to 8pm.
On Sunday, June 12, the 4 Barrel Ramblers will take the stage and get things going at 2pm, followed by performances by Johnny and the Spinsations and the San Antonio-based and internationally-known Two Tons of Steel.
Both days will feature a food truck court, with some of the most popular trucks in the region in attendance, including D’Lish Curbside Bistro, Nom Mi Street, Skratch, Angie’s Cakes, The Cuban Spot, Luv Me Tenders, and more.
Pearland’s own Pearl Theater will also stage brief vignettes from their Elvis-inspired show All Shook Up (running from Friday, June 17 through Sunday, July 10) and visitors can duck into the movie tent christened Graceland Cinema to catch the classic rock and roll films Viva Las Vegas, Jailhouse Rock, and Grease,
And putting the perfect cap on the era, VFW Post 7109 will present a classic car show, featuring cars and vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s.

King’s Battle of the Brews
Noted as one of the top German restaurants in the U.S., King’s Biergarten is holding an epic three-day throwdown, where American and German beers will go head to head, from Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12.
Eight German beers will be pitted against eight American beers, and attendees will vote on the champion nation.
In addition to the brews, there will be live music on two stages, an arm-wrestling competition, and one free beer for everyone who shows up in a themed costume.
One lucky guest will win a trip for two to Salzburg, Austria to visit the famous Stiegl Brewery.
