51st Annual Dickens on the Strand in Historic Downtown Galveston

    Galveston Historical Foundation presents the 51st Dickens on the Strand, the grand yearly holiday tradition, where Historic Downtown Galveston turns into Victorian London for 3 days of Greater Houston’s most unique Christmas festival and celebration.

    The weekend features great family programming, live entertainment, special free and ticketed pop-up events. and more based on 19th century Victorian London.

    The weekend offers parades, non-stop entertainment on four stages, new additions like Tiny Tim’s Play Land, Shopkeeper Skills Village, and roaming characters throughout the festival.

    Costumed vendors peddle their wares from street stalls and rolling carts laden with holiday food and drink, Victorian-inspired crafts, clothing, jewelry, holiday decorations, and gift items.

    Free admission for all on Fezziwig’s Friday, December 6. 2024.

    Saturday and Sunday admission is $25; $15 ages 7 to 12; free for ages 6 and under. VIP options are $100; $40 for ages 7 to 12. $1000 for all access weekend golden ticket.
