Ditch the sleigh and pound the pavement with thousands of jolly Santas in the annual Santa Hustle 5K and Half Marathon at Galveston’s Beach Central on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

The yuletide tradition returns to Galveston as the Santa Hustle Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids Rudolph Run takes over the Island’s scenic waterfront, benefiting the Galveston County Food Bank.

Participants can enjoy cookie and candy stations along the course while holiday music spreads festive cheer around Galveston’s historic landmark district.

Adults can sport their comfy white hoodies and fleece headbands for the race (included with registration), while Rudolph Run kids ages 2 to 10 will receive a long sleeve Santa shirt along with a Santa hat and beard. Optional add-on packages can help bring your costume game to the next level with Mrs. Claus tutus and socks, a full Santa suit, and other holiday gear. All finishers will take home a spiffy medal that jingles.

Once you’ve crossed the finish line, all are encouraged to stay for a post-race party and take advantage of exciting entertainment options to wrap up the day.
