Run/walk for a cause at the 15th Annual Run for the Rose 5k and Family 1k at NRG Park on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
The Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation invites you to join them in raising funds and awareness for brain cancer during their annual Run for the Rose at NRG Park.
Individuals and teams are encouraged to register and fundraise to help reach the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation’s event goal of $620,000.
Walk, Run, Stroll or Roll
Start the morning at 8am by supporting those walking in the Survivor Stroll, celebrating and honoring those who have battled brain cancer and survived. Registration is free for all brain cancer survivors.
Participants are welcome to walk or run the course and will be given the option to compete in the 5k race as a timed competitor, or take it slow with the non-timed 5k or Family 1k.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers and male and female runners who place in the top three of their age group.
All children 12 and under receive a finishers medal.
Early Registration
Registration fees will increase on Thursday, March 23, 2017, so all participants who register early are primed to save on their race fees. Click here for fee details or to register now.
Post Race Party
Hang around after the walk for a post-race party with food from more than 25 restaurants around town, silent auction, live music, and an informational brain exhibit. The post-race festivities also include a kids area where children can go through an inflatable obstacle course, climb a rock wall, get their face painted and make crafts.
Run for the Rose benefits the Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation.
