Enjoy an engaging evening of music from the clarinetists of ROCO as they present a selection of works ranging from Classical to modern during ROCO Unchambered: Flair at MATCH on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

ROCO returns with its annual Unchambered series, featuring small ensembles in intimate environments, beginning the 2019-2020 season with ROCO Unchambered: Flair on Saturday, October 19. Clarinetists Nathan Williams and Maiko Sasaki will be joined by pianist Colette Valentine in a program of duos spanning Classical era favorites and mid-century works, to contemporary commissions.

Hear landmark pieces by Felix Mendelssohn, Igor Stravinsky, and Amilcare Ponchielli, enjoy a taste of exotic in the music of Bela Kovacs and Michael Tenzer, then experience a flair for the dramatic – in contemporary works by Theresa Martin and Houston-based composer Marcus Maroney.

Curious about the clarinet? Bring your questions for an interactive audience Q&A with Nathan and Maiko, where you’ll learn more about this incredible instrument.

Complimentary wine is available before the show and during intermission. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
