The team behind Mr. Peeples enjoys mashing up the traditional with the modern to create an unexpected experiences. Here you’ll find a full menu with a modern take on Houston’s coastal bounty and Texas’ steak traditions that integrates international techniques, ingredients and recipes.

The distinctive four-story Midtown restaurant is housed in the former Boy Scouts of America building, originally built in the 1950s.

The restaurant maintains a business or dressy casual dress code. Jackets are optional for men. But sneakers, caps, sportswear, shorts and sandals are not permitted.

Sunday Brunch

Mr. Peeples offers a weekly Sunday brunch from 11am to 3pm, featuring specialty omelets including a Japanese-style rock shrimp and Tobiko omelet, smoked salmon omelet, and a chipotle mac and cheese omelet. Belgian waffles, french toast, a bevy of egg dishes and selection of sandwiches round out the options. The bar offers up blood orange mimosas, bellinis, bloody Marys, sangria and local draft beers.

Happy Hour

Happy hour runs from 4pm to 7pm on weekdays and 4pm to 6pm on Saturdays. Along with specially-priced cocktails, beers and wines by the glass, you’ll find a menu of appetizers prices at $8 each.
