Tune in for the premiere of a dance theater collaboration, All the Devils are Here: A Tempest in the Galapagos, presented virtually by MATCH on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15, 2021.
The Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston, also known as MATCH, will be presenting two livestream opportunities for visitors to soak up an engaging performing arts drama while the theater continues to work toward reopening for in-person programming.
A collaboration between Open Dance Project and Houston-based DiverseWorks, All the Devils are Here: A Tempest in the Galapagos is an immersive dance theater production that blends elements of Shakespeare’s The Tempest with the true story of an unsolved murder in the Galapagos in 1929.
The hour-long production was slated to premiere in the summer of 2020, before the pandemic brought forth a reimagined livestream version that will send the viewer’s eye into the dancing throng of performers for a truly immersive experience.
