Learn the Mandarin Chinese language in a weekly class at Asia Society Texas Center from Monday, February 1 through Monday, April 4, 2016.

Enroll in a Mandarin Chinese class for beginners taking place at Asia Society Texas Center this spring.

Whether you’re planning a trip to China and want to familiarize yourself with characters and pronunciations, or simply want to learn a new language, this 10-week crash course will be more than enough to get you started.

Through two-hour classes held once a week, you’ll learn the foundation of Mandarin Chinese, covering the hanyu pinyin phonetic transcription system as well as the pronunciation and use of terms and phrases. No previous experience with the language is required.

Leading the class will be Jiaqi Lun – a Houston area teacher certified to teach Chinese to everyone from kindergarteners to high school students studying AP Chinese to beginner adults.

All materials will be provided.
