Celebrate 50 years of the Big Mac on Thursday with free burgers from McDonald’s

Purchase a Big Mac from area McDonald’s restaurants on Thursday, August 2, 2018 and get a MacCoin, which can be redeemed for a free Big Mac in the future. 

In celebration of the Big Mac’s 50th birthday, McDonald’s is giving away limited edition MacCoins at restaurants across the Greater Houston area.

Purchase a Big Mac on Thursday, August 2, 2018 and you’ll receive a MacCoin. Beginning on Friday, August 3, and through the end of the year, you can redeem each MacCoin for a free Big Mac.

There are five different MacCoin designs, one representing each decade since the Big Mac was created, and you can collect all five, or redeem them for a free burger.

Guests can take advantage of this offer in-store or in the drive thru at McDonald’s locations in the Greater Houston area, while supplies last.

Be sure to redeem your MacCoin before the offer expires on December 31, 2018.
