Throughout CITGO Freedom Over Texas, firework seekers of all ages will have plenty to spark their interests across multiple stages of entertainment in Eleanor Tinsley Park.
In addition to dance contests, food trucks, and a celebration of the Apollo 11 moon landing, CITGO Freedom Over Texas has an afternoon full of diverse live music.
Dr. Pepper Stage
- 35 to Nowhere | 4:15pm – Hard rock by members of the army from Fort Sam.
- Brian Jack and the Zydeco Gamblers | 6pm – A five-piece band delivering creole sounds.
- Jackie Venson | 7:50pm – Blues stylings from a singer-songwriter and guitarist.
CITGO Main Stage
- Ernest Walker Band | 4:30pm – Unique covers of popular songs.
- Los Luzeros de Rioverde | 6pm – Norteño tunes from a youthful trio.
- Kelly Pickler | 6:30pm – Country music by a former American Idol contestant.
- Jake Owen | 8:05pm – Main stage finale by a pop country artist.
