- Katy Rodeo & Livestock Show at L.D. Robinson Pavilion | Thursday to Saturday – Saddle up for a three-day show of animals, auctions, competitions, mutton bustin’, and more—including a parade on Saturday night at 9:30pm. Carnival times vary. Rodeo begins at 7pm nightly.
- Murder Mystery Radio Theater at Creative Learning Society in Rosenberg | Friday & Saturday – Vintage radio era meets modern crime drama at an interactive play where you can become a character, or simply sit back, watch, and help solve a murder. $25. 8pm both nights.
- Open Dance Project presents Wonka! at MATCH | Friday to Sunday | Opening Weekend − Join Charlie Bucket in his search for a golden ticket at a lively, family-friendly dance interpretation of Roald Dahl’s classic tale, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. $25; $15 for ages 12 and under and for students with ID. Showtimes vary.
- 111th Celebration of Mardi Gras! Galveston | Friday to Sunday – The first weekend of the biggest Mardi Gras celebration by the sea brings with parades, headliner performances and concerts, balcony parties, masked balls, and more. Prices vary for party passes, balcony tickets, and general admission. Times vary.
- 10th Annual ReelAbilities Film Festival | Daily | Virtual | FREE with RSVP– Celebrating the successes and challenges of people living with disabilities, ReelAbilities returns with 16 livestreaming films, documentaries, and shorts. In addition to the films which can be viewed 24/7, there are also special virtual panels and discussions about select films.

- Expose Excellence Youth Program presents Exposing Black Artistry at Landmark Community Center | FREE – Students ages 10 to 17 from all backgrounds are invited to an interactive art workshop and poetry contest inspired by Black History Month. Includes lunch and a midday arts performance. 10am.
- George Ranch Rodeo at George Ranch Historical Park – For more than 100 years, Black cowboys played an essential role in Fort Bend County ranching and this rodeo celebrates that heritage. Expect a live rodeo and entertainment, kids activities, craft and food booths, and more. $20; $10 for ages 12 and under. 4pm to 9:30pm.

- ReelAbilities Film Festival – Opening Night: Telos & Keeping the Chaos Together | FREE with RSVP – Tune in for a live discussion about two locally directed films, Telos and Keeping the Chaos Together, currently streaming for free as part of the 10th annual ReelAbilities Film Festival. This live discussion is the first of several to follow over the next few days. 7pm.
