Savor world flavors at this fall’s international food festivals in Sugar Land

Travel the globe and sate your appetite for amazing international food, concerts, dance, shopping, and more at five distinctive festivals happening in Sugar Land from Saturday, October 1 through Saturday, October 29, 2022.

In keeping with Sugar Land’s diverse and embracing spirit, the 2022 October festival season is highlighted by five festivals drawing from Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.

International Food & Heritage Festivals in Sugar Land in October 2022

  • Oktoberfest at Sugar Land Town Square | Saturday, October 1, 2022 | No Cover – Flying Saucer’s biergarten opens more than 50 taps for a family-friendly Bavarian celebration that extends into Sugar Land Town Square, featuring the Boho vintage and crafts market, live music and dance, and traditional German foods with roaming jugglers, stilt walkers, tarot readers, and more surprises. 4pm to 9pm.
  • 6th Annual Houston Lebanese Festival at Constellation Field | Saturday, October 1 & Sunday, October 2, 2022 – Celebrate Lebanon’s food, music, history, culture, and more at an all ages fest. Each day will be capped off by headliner concert with Guy Manoukian on Saturday and Najwa Karam on Sunday. $35; $10 for ages each day. Times vary.
  • Puerto Rican & Cuban Festival at The Crown Festival Park | Saturday, October 15, 2022 – Headlined by El Chacal, the annual music festival and celebration of Puerto Rican and Cuban culture also showcases a full day of live music and dancing, delicious Puerto Rican and Cuban food, a car show, arts and crafts vendors, and more. $15 in advance. Noon to 10pm.
  • Houston Filipino Street Festival at Constellation Field | Saturday, October 22, 2022 – Embrace the Philippines and local Filipino culture with street food, live performances, and more at this family-friendly festival thrown by Filipino Young Professionals of Houston. $17 and up. Noon to 7pm.
  • Dia de los Muertos Celebration at Sugar Land Town Square | Saturday, October 29, 2022 – To honor the beloved Mexican holiday, there will be traditional mariachi and ballet folklorico performances, Aztec dancers, cultural exhibits, and family-friendly fun to celebrate the special meaning of this day. Noon to 5pm.
