Give $10 and feed 30 Houstonians affected by Hurricane Harvey by donating to the Houston Food Bank’s Harvey Disaster Relief through the end of September 2017.
The Houston Food Bank, the nation’s largest food bank, supports the children, families, and seniors in Southeast Texas who are in need of food, water, and supplies following the disaster or Hurricane Harvey.
Now through the end of September, with a $10 donation, you will enable Houston Food Bank to provide 30 meals for hungry neighbors in emergencies and throughout the year.
You can pitch in with donations of $10 (feeds 30), $20 (feeds 60) or $30 (feeds 90), and 100% of the money donated will go to Houston Food Bank’s life-changing work.
Once this year’s disaster relief and recovery needs have been met, any remaining donations will be used to fund ongoing hunger-relief efforts.
About the Houston Food Bank & Harvey Disaster Relief
Every year Houston Food Bank feeds 800,000 people through its network of food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers and other agencies.
The Houston Food Bank has a history of providing disaster relief, but they’ve never seen devastation on this scale. The HFB will provide food and supplies in the short-term and for many months to come to residents in southeast Texas who will struggle to rebuild their lives.
The Food Bank will work closely with their network of partner agencies to ensure food is getting to those who need it most and will also find ways to connect offers of help with those who are providing help.
