Explore the nutrition and health of families around the world in the eye-opening photo exhibition Hungry Planet: What The World Eats, on display at The Health Museum through Sunday, January 1, 2017.
Join The Health Museum as they discover the world in a broader context through their latest Hungry Planet: What The World Eats exhibit which investigates human kind’s oldest social activity: eating.
Featuring 15 families from 12 countries, photographer Peter Menzel and author Faith D’Aluisio spent time capturing the daily essence of each family as they farmed, shopped, cooked, and ate. Guests strolling through the exhibition can dive further into how each family acquired their food and prepared it according to their related cultural traditions.
At the end of each visit Menzel and D’Aluisio created a portrait of the families surrounded by a week’s worth of their groceries, which act as a centerpiece for each section. Experience these still life displays of togetherness for yourself at The Health Museum now through January 2017.
