
Head to the Houston Zoo for family-friendly Halloween activities during the month-long Zoo Boo celebration, now through Sunday, November 1, 2020.
The annual Zoo Boo is back again this year and this go ’round, there’s plenty of new features to keep the little ghouls entertained throughout all of October.
The family-friendly event is packed with ten ‘Grammable spell-binding photo ops, a Spooky Train Village, kid friendly short stories and more while you learn about the animals that call the Zoo home.
Adults and children alike are encouraged to wear family-friendly costumes, but visitors should note that adults will not be admitted if they have heavy makeup or a mask covering their entire face. Facial coverings that go over nose and mouth will be required for ages 10 and older, and in the interest of public safety, the Zoo Boo will not include a pumpkin patch or candy giveaways this year.

Social Distancing & COVID-19
Businesses in Houston have opened under modified protocols, following guidelines administered by local health officials, the State of Texas and CDC. At this time, guidance from experts urges people to continue wearing face masks when in public spaces, practice social distancing of at least six feet, limit your touching of surfaces and frequently use hand sanitizer or soap and water to keep your hands clean.
