Journey to a Galaxy Far, Far Away at Houston Symphony’s Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert—performed live to screen with the full movie at Jones Hall—for three shows on Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Not sure what to get the hard-to-please movie fan—or the “one who has everything”—in your life this year?

Give them tickets or take them to see your Houston Symphony perform John Williams’ entire score live to picture at a screening of the thrilling final chapter of George Lucas’ original Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi (PG, 1983), at Jones Hall on the second weekend of January.

Led by Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, the plucky band of rebels attempt a rescue of the captured Han Solo from the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt before a planned secret mission to take down the evil galactic Empire and Emperor Palpatine himself—confronting Darth Vader along the way.

But, what if “It’s a trap“!?
