  • Athletes in Action Super Bowl Breakfast at Marriott Marquis Downtown – Celebrate the 2017 Bart Starr Award recipient at this premier event breakfast. Expect an all-star lineup of special guests, including Tony Dungy and Roger Staubach, in attendance. Tickets are $200, not including ticket fees. 8am.
  • Taste of Katy Chili Bowl at Rhodes Stadium | FREE – Get ready for an amateur chili cook-off, live music, celebrity appearances, vendors, food trucks, a silent auction, and kid-friendly activities. 9am to noon.
  • 2017 NFL Experience at George R. Brown Convention Center – Experience all things Super Bowl and NFL related during this exciting, continuous event featuring pro football’s interactive theme park, football clinics, NFL merchandise and free autograph sessions from NFL players. There will also be personalized digital photos, an upgraded 40-yard dash and vertical jump against NFL players on LED screens, a virtual reality experience, enhanced Super Bowl ring displays, and a new NFL Draft set. Tickets start at $25, not including ticket fees. 10am.
  • Midtown Park Super Block Party in the New Midtown Park | FREE – Soak in musical entertainment (local and national), food, art, and outdoor fun for all ages at a public debut and preview of the new three-acre Midtown Park. There will be live performances, official Super Bowl LI activations, DJ tunes, drinks, food, and more. All ages are welcome. Saturday 10am to 7pm.
  • Super Bowl Live at Discovery Green | FREE  Discovery Green will welcome fans to this ten-day festival leading up to Super Bowl LI. Live music kicks off at 6pm with The Suffers, followed by Gary Clark Jr., and ZZ Top. 10am to 11pm.
  • First Down: Live Music at Historic Market Square | FREE – Wonky Power Records hosts the first of two days of live, local music smack in the middle of Downtown Houston’s Historic Market Square. In order of performance, Saturday’s line-up features Dayta, Handsomebeast, El Lago, Vodi, Camera Cult, and Birthday Club. 11am to 4pm.
  • EaDo End-Zone: Da’ Creole Krewe’s 4th Annual Gumbo-Off & Crawfish Boil at Lucky’s Pub Downtown | Saturday, February 4 – Da’ Creole Krewe presents their 4th Annual Gumbo-Off and Crawfish Boil benefitting Zoey’s Angels. Ticket price includes tasting tickets to sample gumbo from participating cook teams, and a raffle ticket. If you’re still hungry, the Bud n’ Boilin truck will be on-site giving out freebies and samples of crawfish. Attendees can enjoy live zydeco music all night by Keith Frank, Chris Ardoin, Brian Jack, Geno Delafose, and Cupid. Crawfish by the pound will be available for purchase. Event sampling lasts until they run out. Tickets start at $30, not including ticket fees. 11am to 6pm; celebrity judges will announce a winner at 5pm.
  • Tailgate on McGowen at Mongoose vs Cobra – Gear up for an all day local celebration for the big game in the parking lot of Mongoose Versus Cobra on McGowen and enjoy local brews, BBQ, and live music. Tickets are $30. 11am to 11pm.
  • Pearland Super Weekend | FREE – Enjoy a free concert by singer RaeLynn at Pearland Town Center at 7pm and get a taste of local cuisine. Trolley car shuttles will transport visitors to participating Pearland hotels and restaurants offering special incentives from noon to 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The concert is free and round-trip trolley rides are $1. Noon to 10pm.
  • Leigh Steinberg’s 30th Annual Super Bowl Party 2017 at Hughes Manor – Iconic sports agent and founder of Steinberg Sports and Entertainment will host his annual Super Bowl Party at Hughes Manor. The invite-only party is attended by NFL owners, general managers, coaches, celebrities, entertainers, politicians, corporate CEOS, media personalities, athletes and more. 1pm to 4pm.
  • The Greatest Catch MVP Day Party: Reigning Super Bowl Champions Edition at Belvedere Lounge – Revel at a Saturday afternoon party hosted by wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders (NFL All-Pro) and Demaryius Thomas of the Denver Broncos, plus more of their NFL buddies. There will be plenty of day drinking and dancing with tunes spun by DJ Baby Yu. RSVP for $20 admission if you arrive before 3pm. Tables available. Click here to RSVP or order tickets. 2pm to 9pm.
  • Countdown to Kickoff: Superstar Saturday at Memorial City | FREE – Enjoy a special appearance by Billy “White Shoes” Johnson, the Little Rookies Training Camp, the finals for the End Zone Celebration Dance Off, live music, and more. 3pm to 11pm.
  • Super Weekend Block Party at Bagby Park | FREE – Dig in for the last of three days of live music and DJ sets next the the giant Midtown sign. From start to finish, Saturday’s lineup features Coline Creuzo, The Kiland Band, and The Slags. 4pm to 8pm
  • Taste of the NFL 26th Annual Party with a Purpose at U of H – Gather on Super Bowl Eve for Taste of the NFL—the premier Super Bowl Week fundraiser dedicated to hunger relief—for its signature grand tasting event. Celebrate America’s two favorite pastimes, food and football, while enjoying live musical entertainment from notable performers and bid on coveted auction items. Football legends, nationally renowned chefs and celebrity supports will all be in appearance. Tickets are $700, not including ticket fees. 5:30pm. 
  • Extravaganza of Stars at Blackburn Estate  Historical Texas Treasures presents the Extravaganza of Stars party where you can meet superstars like astronaut Buzz Aldrin, boxer George Foreman, country musician Clay Walker and more, along with local stars as well. Tickets start at $1,500, not including ticket fees. 6pm to 11pm.
  • NFL Honors at Wortham Center – Witness the NFL Awards celebration. The NFL’s end of season awards will be announced, along with the Pro Football Hall of Game Class of 2017 at the Wortham Center in Downtown. 7pm to 10pm.
  • Professional Football Players Mothers Association Super Bowl Gala at DoubleTree Greenway Plaza – Dress to impress in cocktail attire and join the PFPMA for an H-Town gala. There will be a buffet to keep you fueled and having fun all night at the Doubletree. Proceeds will benefit a Houston area charity. Tickets are $100, not including ticket fees. 8pm to 1am.
  • Official Maxim Party 2017 at Smart Financial Centre – Experience the Maxim rage during this milestone weekend of sports and over-the-top events in Houston.   • Rolling Stone Magazine Big Game Bash featuring Diplo and Nas at MFAH – Rolling Stone Magazine host their Big Game Bash with performances by EDM superstar Diplo, rapper Nas and more at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. This is a private event. 9pm.
  • Lil Wayne & Celebrity Friends SB 51 “Undisputed” 2017 Party at Ayva Center – Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Wayne hosts his pre-big game party and concert with some of his celebrity friends at Ayva Center in the Southwest Houston. Tickets start at $75, not including ticket fees. 9pm.
  • 50 Cent Gold Carpet Celebrity Bash | Saturday, February 5, 2017 – Yeah, it’s your birthday. Atlanta V103’s own Ryan Cameron emcees an evening featuring 50 Cent, live and in person, at this ATL to HOU event. More than 30 NFL players are confirmed. RSVP for $30 admission if you arrive before 10pm; $50 general admission. 9:30pm to 2am.
