Celebrate all things Italian with weekend of music, contests and family fun at the Houston Italian Festival 2015 at St. Thomas University from Thursday, October 8 to Sunday, October 11, 2015.
The Italian Cultural and Community Center of Houston presents the 37th annual Italian Festival. Bring the whole family for a weekend of food, contests, culture, music and dancing.
Enjoy Italian folk dancing, music by DJ Italia, and special performance by Disco Impressions on Saturday evening. Italian language classes will be available for both children and adults throughout the weekend. Grab a partner and enter the grape stomp competition or bocce tournament. Prefer to compete as an individual? Take on the pasta eating contest and place 1st or 2nd for a prize. Stick around for the classic car show on Sunday.
The children’s activity area will be filled with inflatables, a rock wall and marionette puppet shows.
