Celebrate at Houston’s LGBT Pride Parade

Head over to Montrose Saturday evening for Houston’s second largest parade as the Houston Gay Pride Parade 2013 parties down Montrose on Saturday, June 29, 2013. 

Whether you’re gay, straight,lesbian, bisexual, or transgender, you’ll find plenty of like-minded friends celebrating alongside you at Houston’s largest Gay Pride Weekend event. The parade typically draws fun-loving people of every sexual persuasion from all over the city and the country. Based on past attendance, more than 325,000 people are expected in 2013. This number makes it the second largest parade in Houston and the largest gay pride event in the Southern U.S.

The Houston Gay Pride Parade grooves on down Westheimer between Dunlavy and Montrose, and showcases more than 100 organizations and businesses supporting and celebrating Houston’s LGBT community. A parade pre-show will start at 7:30 at Westheimer and Waugh. The entire event will be concluded by 11pm.
