Enjoy exciting live entertainment while indulging in homemade fajitas at the Houston Fajita Festival at the Humble Civic Center on Saturday, June 4, 2016.

Houston’s newest festival food festival celebrates all things fajita and Tex-Mex with a day of feasting, competition, live music, and family fun.

Fajitas & More

Sample as many different types of delicious fajitas as your heart desires (and your stomach can handle). Houston’s best home cookers, restaurants, food trucks and grill masters will be present serving up sizzling Tex Mex options.

The menu lineup includes tastings from Taco Palenque, Bau Bau’s Cuisine, Bullritos, Los Cucos Mexican Café, El Guajillo, Skye Café, Harris County General Store, Chubbz Grubbz, Jabz BBQ, Big D’s BBQ and More, Fish Tacos Lodge, Cousins Lobster, Lilu’s Cuban Press, Food Gasm, Eureka Lodge 96, and The Turkey Shack. Samples will be sold for $2 each.

Drinks

Stay hydrated with refreshing Grandma’s Boys Lemonade made from freshly squeezed lemons. The official festival drink is the cucumber and jalapeno lemonade, known as “The Incredible Hulk.”

The Fiesta Beer and Spirit Garden will be serving up cold beer and mixed cocktails, plus Michelada Frio and Tiro de Los Muertos (Shot of the Dead) made with premium tequila.

Live Music & Entertainment

In addition to food and drinks, the festival will be bursting with entertainment and activities celebrating Texas and Mexican culture.

The live music lineup features performances by Muddy Belle, Ganesha, and Disfrutalo. In addition to the music, expect live wrestling, a kids zone, a fajita workshop, a jalapeno-eating contest, and more. Click here for more information.
