Celebrate the 8th Wonder’s 50th birthday with a free party this Thursday, April 9, 2015.
Join other proud Houstonians for the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Astrodome with a free party, complete with activities and cake. There’ll be “Dome Dogs,” souvenirs and a chance to enter the Dome between 7 and 8 p.m.
The party is open to the public and completely free. Gates to NRG Park open at 5:30pm with festivities at Carruth Plaza (on the west side of the Astrodome) kicking off at 6pm.
